MDI Gurgaon

MDI (Management Development Institute) Gurgaon is one of the premier management institutes of India. MDI conducts a number of post graduate programmes in management.

Various academic programmes offered by MDI Gurgaon are:

Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM): This is a two-year full-time programme. The curriculum is spread over six terms of about three months each. The total number of students admitted to the programme is 120. Candidate seeking admission to the programme must be Graduate with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Applicants are required to appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMs. Candidates who qualify in the CAT are called for a group discussion and personal interview.

National Management Programme (NMP): This programme is designed for young managers in government and industry. Sponsored candidates have to forward their Applications through the respective organizations. All sponsored candidates are required to appear in MDI AT (MDI Admission Test). All self sponsored candidates are required to appear in the CAT. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of written test are called for group discussion and personal interview.

Executive Management Programme: This programme is specially developed for the managers of Private and Public sectors and Government. The course duration is three years. Candidate seeking admission to the programme must be Graduate with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Applicants are required to appear in the written test conducted by MDI. Candidates who qualify in the written test are called for a group discussion and personal interview.

Post Graduate Programme - Human Resource Management: The course duration is two-years and prepares candidates for HR career in industry and services. Candidate seeking admission to the programme must be Graduate with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Applicants are required to appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMs. Candidates who qualify in the CAT are called for simulation exercises and personal interview.

Post Graduate Diploma in Public Policy and Management: This is a twenty-one month Diploma programme designed to equip the experienced Government servants in the design and execution of delivery systems. The Programme is open to all Group A officers of the Centre and State Governments. The officer should not be more than 50 years of age on the date of the commencement of the programme and should have put in at least seven years of Group A service.

Besides the above programmes MDI Gurgaon also offers Fellow Programme in Management.
