JBIMS (Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies)

JBIMS (Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies) is one of the top management institutes of India. The institute was founded in 1965 by the University of Bombay with the objective of pioneering and furthering post - graduate management education in India. JBIMS has been ranked in Asia's Top 25 business schools by Asia Inc. The institute's proximity to Nariman Point, commercial hub of India, gives it an added advantage.

Academic programmes offered by JBIMS Mumbai are:

Masters in Management Studies (MMS): This is a two-year full-time programme. The programme consists of four semesters and the duration of each semester is around 15 working weeks. The programme has fair amount of practical work by way of project work, field investigations and case analysis besides library reading and class contact hours. Candidate seeking admission to the programme must be a graduate with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Candidates are selected on the basis of 3-tier selection procedure consisting of a Common Entrance Test (CET), a Group Discussion (GD) and a Personal Interview (PI).

Executive MMS: This is a three-year part-time programme for working executives. The courses offered in Executive MMS are Masters in Human Resource Development Management (MHRDM), Masters in Marketing Management (MMM), Masters in Financial Management (MFM), and Masters in Information Management (MIM). Candidates seeking admissions to Executive MMS must have a Bachelor's Degree with two years work experience at executive / supervisory level after graduation. Admission is based on a Common Written Test (CWT), followed by a Group Discussion (GD).

Doctoral Programme in Management Studies (Ph.D): A candidate seeking admission to the programme must have a Master's Degree or a Graduate Degree with a recognized educational qualification such as ACA, AICWA, ACS, IAS and LLM. Candidates are selected on the basis of Common Written Test (CWT) and a Personal Interview (PI). The CWT mainly emphasizes on testing the candidate's aptitude in the area of research methodology.
