IIM Lucknow

IIM Lucknow is one of the premier management institutes of India. The institute was established in 1984, by the Government of India, as a national level school of excellence in management science. Indian Institute of Management Lucknow is the first IIM to open a second campus. Work is underway in Noida on IIM Lucknow's second campus.

Various courses offered by IIM Lucknow are:

Post Graduate Program (PGP): This is a two-year, full time, residential program at the end of which the students are awarded the Post Graduate Diploma in Management. Admissions to the program are on the basis of academic records, work experience, performance in Common Admission Test (CAT), group discussion, and personal interview.

Post-Graduate Programme in Agri-Business Management (PGP-ABM): This is a two-year full time residential course designed with the aim of developing business leaders for promoting agri-business and agro-based enterprises. The candidate seeking admission to the course should have a Bachelor degree in Agriculture Science / Agricultural Engineering (with minimum 50% marks) or must hold a must hold a Bachelor degree with at least 50% marks. Admissions are done on the basis of academic records, work experience, performance in Common Admission Test (CAT), group discussion, and personal interview.

Working Managers Program (WPM): This is a specially designed three year post graduate programme in business management for working executives, entrepreneurs and professionals to help them upgrade their skills in a formal setting while continuing to be engaged in their ongoing professions/businesses. Admission to this program is on the basis of competitive written examination conducted by IIM Lucknow at NOIDA and/or New Delhi. The pattern of the exam is on the lines of Common Admission Test (CAT). Short-listed candidates are called for a group discussion and personal interview.

Fellow Programme in Management (FPM): This is a four-year programme with specialization in Economics, Decision Sciences, Human Resource Management, Information Technology & Systems, Marketing Management, Operations Management, and Strategic Management. The candidates seeking admission to the programme must have either a Bachelors Degree in Engineering with 60% marks, or a Masters degree or its equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% marks. Candidates are short-listed for the selection interview on the basis of CAT/ GATE/ GRE/ GRE/ GMAT, and JRF of UGC/CSIR.
