Xavier Institute of Development Action and Studies (XIDAS) is located in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. The institute was set up in the year 1995, amidst a picturesque location with all the modern facilities. The institute functions under the aegis and guidance of Society of Jesus (Jesuits), an international organization, which is internationally acclaimed as one of the outstanding educationists. From the academic session 2000, Xavier Institute of Development Action and Studies introduced MBA in Rural Management (RM) programme, affiliated to Rani Durgavati Vishwa Vidyalaya, Jabalpur, and also has been approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi. In 2008, it launched the PGDM programme with the approval of AICTE, New Delhi.

Admission is done by Director of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Madhya Pradesh, on the basis of merit obtained by the candidate in the Madhya Pradesh Management Entrance Test (MPMET), conducted by MP Professional Examination Board, which is followed by counseling.
Post Graduate Diploma:
Admission is done on the basis of merit obtained by the candidate in XAT / CAT / MAT / ATMA / MET exam, followed by Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI) and English Language Test.
