Walchand College of Engineering was founded in 1947. Currently, the college works under the management of MTE Society. The autonomous institution is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi to conduct a range of courses at under graduate as well as at post graduate level. Affiliated to Shivaji University, it has been accredited by National Board of Accreditation, NBA. Walchand College of Engineering is situated in a sprawling area of 102.50 acres of land in Sangli, Maharashtra. The college is among the leading institutes of technical education in the state. The candidates should have passed 10+2 in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry obtaining minimum 50% marks (45% for reserve category candidates of Maharashtra state only).
Those who are diploma holders in Engineering/ Technology and possess minimum of 60% marks in the final year are eligible for admission to second year.
Post Graduate:

The candidates should have BE / B Tech degree of recognized institution in respective field(s).
