Virangana Jhalkari Bai Govt Girls College Gwalior, in Madhya Pradesh, is a women’s college, run by Government of Madhya Pradesh. The college was established in the year 1982 as Government New Girls College to impart quality higher education for the educationally backward women of Madhya Pradesh.  In the year 2003, the college was renamed as Virangana Jhalkari Bai Govt Girls College after the name of famous freedom fighter Jhalkari Bai. Virangana Jhalkari Bai Govt Girls College is affiliated to Jiwaji University. The college offers various undergraduate and post graduate courses in Arts stream.

Undergraduate:
The candidates who have passed their 10+2 level examination of Madhya Pradesh State Examination Board or its equivalent in any discipline are eligible for the BA courses.

Post Graduate:
The graduates in relevant subjects from any recognized University are eligible for the MA courses offered here.

The admission of the selected candidates is done on the basis of percentage of marks obtained by them in their 10+2 level and as per the norms of Gujarat University.

Post Graduate:
