Vel's College of Physiotherapy is situated in Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu. The college was established and managed by Vael's Educational Trust. Vel's College of Physiotherapy is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It is approved by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP) and recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu. It is aimed at training the students to practice the profession of physiotherapy in a competent and ethical manner, to provide quality healthcare. Vel’s College of Physiotherapy offers Bachelor in Physiotherapy (B.P.T) course of 4½ years duration and Master of Physiotherapy (M.P.T) course of 2 years duration.

Candidates belonging to all categories should have passed the qualifying examination (Academic Stream) after a period of 12 years of study with the followings subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany and Zoology.
Post Graduate:
Candidates should have passed the B.P.T. Degree Course of The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University or any other University recognized as equivalent by The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University.
