UBDT College of Engineering, located at Davangere in Karnataka, conducts a range of UG and PG level courses in several disciplines. The college, which is also known as University BDT College of Engineering, is affiliated to Kuvempu University. UBDT College of Engineering is identified as a networking institution under TEQIP project of World Bank. 

Established in 1951, UBDT College of Engineering is one of the oldest colleges in the state of Karnataka. The college also has a Science & Technology Entrepreneur's Park set up by Government of Karnataka. Courses conducted by the college are recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE. Some of its courses are also accredited by the National Bureau of Accreditation (NBA).

Eligibility:

Undergraduate:
Minimum educational qualification required is a pass in (10+2) or any other equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects and with 45% (40% for reserved category) of aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics and one of the subjects of Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biotechnology.

Diploma Holders in appropriate branch of Engineering from the Board of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka or any other Diploma qualification considered equivalent thereto by this University are also eligible for admission.

Post Graduate:
Candidates need to have a technical degree BE/B Tech from VTU or equivalent in the relevant discipline to secure admission.
Admission Procedure:

Undergraduate:
Admission in the college is conducted by Common Entrance Test conducted by Government of Karnataka. Common Entrance Test - CET is generally conducted during April/May of every year.

Entrance Test: Karnataka CET

Post Graduate:
Candidates are admitted on the basis of State Entrance Test PGCET. Candidates with GATE score are also admitted.
