Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE) Mysore was established in the year 1963 under the endorsement of JSS Mahavidyapeetha. After all these years, it has carved its own place as a premier institution for technical education in India. The College is affiliated to Visveswaraiah Technological University Belgaum and governed by the Grant-in-Aid rules of the Government of Karnataka.
The college has been identified as one of the Centers of the Network scheme envisaged by the Government of India, thus enabling active interactions with institutions such as the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. The institution is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and accredited by the National Board of Accreditation. Eligibility:
Undergraduate:The candidate should have Passed in Higher Secondary Examination/ equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics).
Post Graduate:Graduation in the BE/B.Tech is must to a candidate to be eligible for this program.
MCA
The candidate should have cleared his or her Graduation with relevant subjects (Mathematics one of them) from any recognized University or institution.
MBA
The candidate must have completed Graduation with not less than 50% marks (SC/ST 45%) from any recognized University or institution.
Doctorate:To be eligible, the candidate must have done Master’s degree in the relevant subject.
