SIT Tumkur or Siddaganga Institute of Technology is a college for higher education in technical courses, in Tumkur, Karnataka. The college is one of the first engineering institutions in the state, under the self-financing scheme. SIT Tumkur is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
Siddaganga Institute of Technology conducts undergraduate and post graduate courses in various branches of engineering. In addition to this, the college offers course that leads to Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) and Computer Application (MCA). Many courses conducted by SIT Tumkur are accredited by the National Board for Accreditation (NBA). The college boasts of world-class facilities within its campus.

Candidates need to pass 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
Post Graduate:

Graduates in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks can apply for MBA.
MCA
Candidates must have any degree with 50% marks in Maths/Statistics/Computer Science/Computer Program/Computer Applications/Business Maths/Business Statistics as one of the optional or elective at degree level.
Undergraduate:
50% of the seats are filled through Common Entrance Test held by the Government of Karnataka. 25% seats are filled through COMED-K. For the remaining 25% seats, candidates are admitted through Management Quota.

Candidates with GATE score are admitted. Applicants without GATE score have to appear for PGCET Entrance Examination conducted by VTU Belgaum.
