BE / B Tech
The candidates should have passed HSC (10+2) examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects of study and should have secured minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. For the candidates of backward class categories of State of Maharashtra minimum percentile required is 45%.
The candidates, who have passed Diploma in Engineering with minimum 60% marks, are eligible to take admission into Second Year.
ME / M Tech
The candidates must possess BE/B. Tech degree in relevant field, from a recognized University.
The candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in any stream, with minimum 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of backward category candidates).
The applicants should have done post graduation course in the relevant field, from a recognized university.
B Tech / BE
The candidates from Maharashtra and outside the state are selected on the basis of their scores in MHT- CET and AIEEE, respectively. No admission test is required for NRI / J&K migrant candidates.
Admission under lateral entry is done on the basis of the candidate’s scores in the qualifying examination.

M Tech / ME
Admissions are based on the applicant’s GATE score or on the basis of the candidate’s performance in entrance test conducted by the institute, followed by interview.
The candidates are selected as per their marks in MHT-CET. For candidates, Outside Maharashtra, CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, JMET scores are considered. Final selection of the candidates is made on the basis of their performance in entrance exam, followed by group discussion and personal interview.
