Located at a wide-spread area of 40 acres of land at Udgir, in Latur district of Maharashtra, Shyamlal College of Engineering started its journey in 1983. The autonomous college aims to impart high standards of education in order to produce proficient technocrats. Affiliated to Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded, it is operating under the sponsorship of Shyamlal Memorial Educational Society. With the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, Shyamlal College of Engineering offers technical programs in various streams at undergraduate level. The institute of Engineering boasts of providing state-of-the-art facilities to the aspirants.

Admissions are done through scores in MHT-CET / AIEEE under the guidance of DTE, Mumbai. Management seats are filled by the institute itself.
