The eligible candidates should have passed 10+2 examination in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Computer Science/ Biotech /Biology from any recognized university/ board.
For Lateral Entry the applicants should have passed diploma or equivalent examination in any engineering trade from PSBTE Chandigarh or any other recognized state board of technical education
Post Graduate:
The eligible candidates should have passed graduation in any stream from any recognized university.

Admission to B Tech course is done on the basis of Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by PTU and All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE).
Admissions for the second year of B Tech course are done on the basis of Lateral Entry Engineering Test by the Punjab Technical University.
