Shiv College of Education came into existence in 1992. Located in Faridabad (Haryana), it is managed and run by Dehat Vikas Educational Society, which is a registered Society. The college is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak. Shiv College of Education is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college imparts undergraduate level programmes - Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) and Diploma in Education (D. Ed), which is affiliated to the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Haryana. Apart from these courses, the college also offers postgraduate level programme - Master of Education (M. Ed). The aspirants, who have cleared B. Ed from any recognized University, are eligible to apply for this programme.
