SECAB Institute of Business Administration was established in 2002, under the aegis of - Socio Economic & Cultural Association (also known as SECAB), Bijapur, Karnataka. The institute is regarded as among the premier institutes for management studies in the state. It is affiliated to Visvevaraya Technological University, Belgaum (also known as VTU) and is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Currently, the institute offers management courses at the undergraduate and post graduate levels. SECAB Institute of Business Administration is a part of the SECAB Group of Institutes, which owns several educational institutions all over the state. The college aims to be counted one among the most prominent B-Schools in India.

The candidates will be selected only if they have appeared for CAT/MAT/XAT or any other qualifying examination, through PGCET Cell VTU Belgaum and Management Test and Counseling. 50% Weight age will be given to performance of the candidates in the admission test, while 50% are allotted for the score obtained in qualifying examination.
