SCAD College of Engineering and Technology was established in 2001. Located in Tirunelveli (Tamil Nadu), it is managed and run by SCAD Educational Trust. The college is an ISO 9001: 2000 certified institution and it is a Christian Minority Institution. SCAD College of Engineering and Technology is affiliated to Anna University, Tirunelveli and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India, New Delhi. The college imparts engineering courses at the undergraduate as well as postgraduate degree level. It also teaches management and computer applications courses, at the postgraduate level. Undergraduate:
The admission seekers must have passed in 10+2 examination with PCM, from any recognized Board. The required marks for the candidates from OC - 60%, B.C - 55%, MBC / DNC - 50% and SC / ST only pass marks.
Post Graduate:
ME / M Tech
The candidate should have possessed Bachelor's degree in BE/B.Tech, from any recognized University.
MCA/ MBA
For MCA, the candidates need to have done graduation and should have studied Mathematics up to 10+2 level. For MBA, graduation in any stream is required.

All the admissions are done through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Entrance Examination (TNPCEE) by TNEA Anna University for government quota and Common Entrance Test (CET) by Consortium of self financing engineering colleges for management quota.
