S. N. M. Training College, located in Moothakunnam (Kerala), is one of the oldest teacher’s training colleges in Kerala. It was established in 1960. The teacher training institute is managed and run by Hindu Matha Dharma Paripalana Sabha. S. N. M. Training College is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college conducts teacher’s training programmes at the undergraduate as well as postgraduate levels - Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) and Master of Education (M. Ed). S. N. M. Training College provides ample basic amenities for the overall development of its students within the campus.
