S K B R (Sri Konaseema Bhanoji Ramars) Degree College, situated at Amalapuram, in East Godavari district, is an aided co-educational college. The college was established in the year 1951 to provide need based higher education in the heart of the Amalapuram town. Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
The candidates who have passed two year P U examination of Andhra P U Board or its equivalent in any subject are eligible for the B A/B Com/ B Ed/B C A courses in respective subjects. Those who have completed the same in Science subjects are eligible for the B Sc courses offered here.
Post Graduate:
The graduates in any subject with Mathematics as a compulsory subject at least in 10+2 level are eligible for the Master of application (MCA) courses offered here. The science graduates in Computer Science are eligible for the M Sc courses in Computer Science.
Admission Procedure:
Undergraduate:
The admission of the selected candidates is done on the basis of percentage of marks obtained by them in their PU level examination as per the norms of Andhra University.
Post Graduate:
The admission of the short listed candidates for M Sc courses is done on the basis of merit as per the norms of Andhra University. For M C A courses, the students get short listed on the basis of their merit in ICET (Integrated Common Entrance Test) examination, conducted by the State Government of Andhra Pradesh.
