Rural Medical College is situated in Loni, Maharashtra. The college was established in 1984 under Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences a deemed university. The college became a constituent unit of the university in 2003. Rural Medical College Loni is approved by Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi and recognized by the state government. The institute is aimed at imparting medical education and producing well trained doctors who can offer their service for the society. It provides several opportunities for students to gain practical experience and exposure to the professional practices of medicine. Candidate should have passed the higher secondary school examination or its equivalent with minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together or any other equivalent examination of any other country duly recognized. Candidate should be either of 17 years of age on or attain this age as on 31st December of the Academic year in which admission is sought.
Post Graduate:
Candidate must have passed MBBS degree from a medical college recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) and who has obtained full registration either from MCI or any of the state council after passing final MBBS examination and has completed one year Internship.
