Ramgarhia College of Education

Earlier founded as a primary school in 1929, Ramgarhia College of Education developed as a college of education in the year 1956. It is an affiliated institute of the Guru Nanak Dev University and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), for offering undergraduate and post graduate level course, B.Ed and M.Ed. Ramgarhia College of Education is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. To pursue the B.Ed course in this college, a graduate candidate is eligible and for the M.Ed, a B.Ed candidate of the affiliating university is eligible.

A graduate candidate in any stream from a recognized university is eligible.

Post Graduate:
A candidate who has passed B.Ed. (N&E) examination from Guru Nanak Dev University or a degree of Master of Education from another University. Also a candidate having passed an equivalent degree from another recognized university is eligible for the course.

Undergraduate:
Admission is done on the basis of B.Ed. Entrance Test conducted by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar or any other University, on behalf of the Punjab Government.

Post Graduate:
Admission is done on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the Guru Nanak Dev University.
