Located in Kurukshetra in Haryana, Modern Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in the academic session 2008-2009, under the guidance of Maa Saraswati Educational & Social Welfare Trust. The self-financing institute, affiliated to Kurukshetra University, conducts under graduate engineering programs in numerous disciplines along with post graduate business administration program. Modern Institute of Engineering and Technology has got the approval from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India and Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Haryana. Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
The candidates must have passed Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from a recognized Board, with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Computer Science as subjects of study.
The candidates having three years of diploma in Engineering/Technology from the State Board of Technical Education, Haryana or its equivalent examination with minimum 60% marks are eligible for admission under lateral entry scheme.
Post Graduate:
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline, from a recognized university.

Admission is done on the basis of the candidate's performance in All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE). Admission under Lateral Entry scheme is done on the basis of scores obtained by the candidate in Lateral Entry Engineering Test (LEET).
