MG Institute of Engineering and Technology (MGIET) Mandi was established in 2007 by Bhuvneshwari Educational Society. It is a self-financed, non govt. engineering college. The Institute is approved by the AICTE and affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. MGIET is the only Engineering College in state having consultancy with Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh.
The MGIET renders technical education in four engineering branches at B.Tech. level. Courses conducted in the MG Institute of Engineering and Technology Mandi are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
