The college of teacher education is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. Mar Severios College of Teacher Education is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college conducts course in the field of teacher education at the undergraduate as well as postgraduate level - Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) and Master of Education (M. Ed).
