Founded in 1987, Manipal College of Dental Sciences (MCODS) is a self financing dental college. As a constituent institute of Manipal University, the institute got recognition from Dental Council of India in 1992 and accreditation from Malaysian Dental Council in 2003. Eligibility:

Undergraduate:
Candidates who have passed 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and scored at least 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together are eligible for the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programme. However, they also have to score at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in the MU-OET entrance test.

Post Graduate Diploma:
Candidates who have completed the BDS programme from any recognized Institution, recognized by Dental Council of India and their rotating internship on or before the starting of the new session are eligible for the PG Diploma programme in Dental Materials.

Post Graduate:
Candidates who have completed the BDS programme from any recognized Institution, recognized by Dental Council of India and their rotating internship on or before the starting of the new session are eligible for the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programme.
