Malabar Teacher Training Institute, located in Chakkarakkal (Kerala), came into existence in 2004-05. It is managed and run by Malabar Educational and Charitable Trust. The teacher training institute is recognized by the Government of Kerala. Malabar Teacher Training Institute is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The institute imparts teacher training programme at the undergraduate level - Teacher Training Certificate (TTC), a two-year full time programme. Malabar T.T.I Chakkarakkal is well equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure within its campus.
