Pass in (10+2) or any other equivalent examination with English as one
of the subjects and with 45% (40% for reserved category) of aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics and one of the subjects of Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biotechnology.
Diploma Holders in appropriate branch of Engineering from the Board of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka or any other Diploma qualification considered equivalent thereto by this University are also eligible for admission.
For Admission in B Arch a candidate needs to score 50% marks (40% for reserved classes) in 10+2 (science) or Diploma (Civil, Architecture).
Post Graduate:ME / M Tech / PG / Postgraduate
Candidates need to have a technical degree BE/B Tech from VTU or equivalent in the relevant discipline scoring minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) to secure admission.
MBA: Candidates should have passed the Bachelor degree examinations with not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examinations.
MCA: Applicant should have passed Bachelor degree with not less than 50% of marks with Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / Computer Programming / Computer Applications / Business Mathematics / Business Statistics as one of the optional or electives at Degree Level.

Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) is conducted by VTU for Admission to M Tech Courses in Karnataka Universities. GATE candidates with valid GATE score are given preference for admission however they are exempted from appearing for the written test.
