Krishna Institute of Technology (KIOT), situated in Kanpur of Uttar Pradesh, is a self financing co-educational college. The college was established in the year 2007 by Gyan Ganga Educational Society to impart quality technical and professional education. The engineering institute conducts undergraduate technical courses in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes. The college is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) and the courses offered are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, Ministry of Human Resource Development and Government of India.

The admission of the short listed candidates to B Tech courses is made on the basis of merit of the candidates in UPSEE and AIEEE entrance examinations along with the group discussions and personal interview and as per the norms of UPTU.
