Krishna Girls Engineering College, situated in Kanpur, is emerging as the first girls engineering College in Kanpur. The college was introduced in the year 2007 to popularize the technical education. The engineering institute conducts B Tech courses in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The college is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) and the courses offered are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Krishna Engineering College is managed by a mutual body created by Krishna Group of Institutions and Kanpur Educational Society. The trust aims to achieve superiority in technical education by setting up the world class institutions for the women of Kanpur and its nearby areas.

The admission of the short listed candidates to B Tech courses is made on the basis of merit of the candidates in UP SEE and AIEEE entrance examinations along with the group discussions and personal interview and as per the norms of UPTU.
