The college is affiliated to Gurunanak Dev University, Amritsar. K.C.L Institute of Laws is approved by Bar Council of India (BCI), Government of India, New Delhi. Under the approval, law institute conducts undergraduate programs in the field of law - Bachelor of Laws (LLB), which is a three year course and B.A. LL.B, a five-year integrated program.
