Jagadguru Gangadhar (JG) College of Commerce, which is located in Hubli district of Karnataka, is one of the oldest and prestigious commerce colleges in India. It was established in 1947 and administered by Karnatak Lingayat Education Society. The commerce college holds the distinction of being the first collegiate institution in Hubli. Affiliated to Karnataka University (Dharwad), Jagadguru Gangadhar College of Commerce is accredited with ‘A’ grade by the Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
JG College of Commerce Hubli aims to create talented professionals in the field. To achieve its aim, the college conducts courses in the field of commerce, at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The UG program (Bachelor of Commerce) is a three-year program whereas, the PG program (Master of Commerce) is a full-time course offered for the duration of two years. Spread over 9.25 acres of land, JG College of Commerce has basic amenities for the young aspirants, in its campus.
