Institute of Hotel Management, Aurangabad, started functioning from 1989. It ranks among the premiere hotel management institutes of India. IHM Aurangabad is a joint venture between Maulana Azad Educational Trust (MAET) and the Taj Group of Hotels. The institute is approved by All Indian Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is a member of Leading Hotel Schools of the World (LHSW). Those students, who have successfully completed 10+2 examiniation in any stream, with English as the medium of instructions, are eligible to apply. Those who are appearing for their Board exams in the current year are also eligible to apply, provided they have qualified in the Board examination.
