Institute of Hotel Management Gurdaspur, was established in 1994. The institution, spread over a sprawling area of 15 acres of land, is one of the premier Hotel Management institutes of Punjab. It is working under the sponsorship of Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and is affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT), New Delhi. IHM Gurdaspur offers undergraduate, three-year B. Sc degree course in Hospitality & Hotel Administration. The candidates, who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination of a recognized central/state Board in any stream, are eligible. In addition, if a candidate has passed General certificate education (GCE) examination of London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka, at the advanced level or senior secondary school examination, conducted by the national open school with a minimum of five subjects can also apply.
