Hindustan College of Science and Technology, spread over a vast area of 34 acres, is located at Agra-Delhi Highway (NH-2), near Mathura. HCST is one of the important colleges in North India. Established in 1996, the college functions under the aegis of Sharda Group of Institutions (SGI), which aspires to become a Deemed University. HCST has approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The college is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow, for majority of its courses. For BBA/BCA, the institute is affiliated to Dr. B. R. Ambedakar University, Agra.
 
Hindustan College of Science and Technology is the first venture of Sharda Educational Trust, which was formed in 1995. Sharda Educational Trust is a conglomerate of 14 colleges, which are collectively known as Sharda Group of Institutions (SGI). SGI holds the distinction of being the largest education trust in northern part of India. Talking about HCST, the college is currently offering a number of courses at graduation as well as post graduation levels. Most of the programs offered by Hindustan College of Science and Technology are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

Eligibility:

Undergraduate:
B Tech
The candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with minimum 60% marks from any recognized Board with Physics, Mathematics as essential subjects with an optional subject Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science.

For direct admission in second year the requirement is 60% marks in Diploma in concerned stream.

BCA/BBA
Candidates need to have 10+2 with minimum 50% marks

Post Graduate:
MCA
Students need 60% in Graduation in any discipline with Maths as one of subjects at 10 + 2 level with minimum 40% marks.

MBA
Students need Three Years Bachelor?s Degree in any discipline from any recognized university with minimum 60% marks.
Admission Procedure:

Undergraduate:
B Tech
Admission under government quota seats is based on entrance examination UPSEE conducted by UP Technical University, Lucknow. Remaining seats are filled under management quota on the basis of merit (UPSEE / AIEEE).

Entrance Test: UP SEE, AIEEE Exam

Post Graduate:
M Tech
Students are admitted on basis of GATE score and their performance in qualifying examination.

MCA
Candidates are taken on the basis of UPSEE.

MBA
Students are inducted through UPSEE / CAT / MAT.
