Government College of Technology Coimbatore, which was formerly known as the Arthur Hope College of Technology, is one of the oldest engineering colleges in India. The institute was established in 1945. Located in Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu), it is an autonomous institute, which is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). Government College of Technology is affiliated to Anna University, Coimbatore and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India, New Delhi. The institute imparts courses in the field of engineering, at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. It provides various state-of-the-art facilities to its students.

Eligibility:

Undergraduate:
The aspirants need to have passed in 10+2 examination with Science stream, from any recognized state/national Board.

Post Graduate:
ME / M Tech
The candidates should have done BE / B Tech in relevant field, from any recognized University.
M Sc
Graduation in Science / similar field is mandatory for the candidates, to be eligible for the course.

Doctorate:
The candidates should have possessed Master's degree in the relevant stream, from any recognized University.
Admission Procedure:

The admission seekers have to appear in TNPCEE / CET (Consortium of self financing engineering colleges for management quota) entrance test.
