Government Autonomous PG College, situated in the ancient city Datiya of Madhya Pradesh, is a co-educational college, run by Government of Madhya Pradesh. The college was formally founded in the academic area of 1958-59 to impart quality higher education for the people of Datia and its nearby areas. Government PG College Datiya is affiliated to Jiwaji University and also accredited with a “B“ grade certificate by NAAC. The college offers various undergraduate, post graduate courses in Arts, science, and Commerce subjects.

Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
The candidates who have passed their 10+2 level examination of Madhya Pradesh State Examination Board or its equivalent in any discipline are eligible for the BA/B Com/LLB courses. Those who have completed the same in science subjects are eligible for the B Sc courses offered here.
Post Graduate:
The graduates in relevant subjects from any recognized University are eligible for the MA/M Com/M Sc courses offered here.

The admission of the selected candidates is done on the basis of percentage of marks obtained by them in their 10+2 level and as per the norms of Jiwaji University.
Post Graduate:
The admission to all post graduate courses is done on the basis of merit of the students and as per the norms of Jiwaji University.
