GM College of Diploma in Teacher Education

GM College of Diploma in Teacher education was established in the year 2006. It is affiliated to the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, of State Council of Educational Research & Training Andhra Pradesh (SCERT Andhra Pradesh) and is approved by the National Council For Teacher Education (NCTE), for providing diploma level course. It is a self financing institute. The GM College of Diploma in Teacher Education is sponsored by the GM Institutions For Rural Development Health and Education Society. It offers mainly diploma course, D.Ed, of two years.

Diploma:
A candidate who has passed Intermediate Examination of Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or its equivalent examination recognized by Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh with 45% of marks. In case of SC, ST and Physically Challenged candidates. Only 40% is acceptable.

Diploma:
Admission is done through DIET- CET. A candidate, who has cleared the District Institutes of Education and Training (DIET) - Common Entrance test, is given admission after counseling.
