Gandhi Shikshan Bhavan's Smt. Surajba College of Education, located in Juhu Road Mumbai, was established on 2nd October, 1969 on the occasion of birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The educational institution is affiliated to University of Mumbai and is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Bhopal, to conduct one year of full-time undergraduate degree level course of Bachelor of Education (B. Ed). The autonomous college has been accredited as A+ grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Managed by Indian Council of Basic Education, Gandhi Shikshan Bhavan's Smt. Graduates in related science, commerce or humanities disciplines with minimum 45% marks in aggregate are eligible. Exemption of 5% is there in minimum percentile only for the reserved class category candidates.
