Fortis School of Nursing Mohali (Punjab) has gained the approval from Indian Nursing Council (INC), Delhi, and is recognized by Punjab Nursing Registration Council (PNRC), Chandigarh. The institution started its first academic session on 1st Nov, 2001 with three and half years of General Nursing & Midwifery (G.N.M) course at undergraduate level. Fortis School of Nursing, in order to provide quality education to the aspirants, boasts of hiring well-qualified and skilled lecturers. The institution also boasts of providing modern facilities to the aspirants. The school is attached to Fortis Hospital, in order to provide clinical experience and practical exposure to the aspirants.

Those, who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board in science stream with not less than 45% aggregate marks, are eligible. Relaxation of 5% is there for SC/ST candidates in minimum percentile required. In addition, he/she needs to be aged between 17 years to 35 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.
