Farook Training College Kozhikode/Calicut, in Kerala, offers teacher’s training programme at the UG as well as PG level.


Farook Training College

Farook Training College was started in 1961 as a ‘Minority Institution’. It came into existence under the aegis of Rauzathul Uloom Association. The college is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Farook Training College was initially affiliated to University of Kerala, but since 1968, it is affiliated to University of Calicut. The college offers teacher’s training programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate level - Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) and Master of Education (M. Ed). Farook Training College is located on sprawling campus, which consists of state-of-the-art infrastructure.

Eligibility:

Undergraduate:
Aspirants must have passed graduation with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, from any recognized University.

Post Graduate:
Candidates are required to have passed B. Ed with at least 55% marks from Kerala University or any other University recognized by University of Calicut.
Admission Procedure:

Candidates are short listed on the basis of Kerala B. Ed Entrance Exam conducted by the Government of Kerala.
