Padmashree Dr DY Patil College of Engineering & Technology in Kolhapur, popularly known as DYPCET Kolhapur, is one of the well known institutions for technical education in Maharashtra. The college was incepted in 1983. It is named after and established by Padmashree Dr DY Patil. The institution is affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Currently, DYPCET Kolhapur offers technical courses in different branches of engineering.
Padmashree Dr DY Patil College of Engineering & Technology Kolhapur has gained the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, for conducting its courses. The candidates should secure minimum 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, at 10+2 level. Candidates belonging to reserve category are given concession in the minimum required marks.
For B Arch, the applicants should be 10+2 passed in Science, with minimum 50% score.

Seats are filled under AIEEE quota 15%, CET 65% and Management quota 20%.
For B Arch, candidates are admitted as per the directives of Directorate of Technical Education, DTE.
