The candidates must have passed their Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from a recognized Board, in science stream.
The candidates having three years of diploma in Engineering/Technology with minimum 60% marks are eligible to seek admission under lateral entry scheme.

Undergraduate:B E / B Tech
Admission to 80% of the total seats is done the basis of the candidate's performance in Joint Entrance Examination of the State (WBJEE) and 10% seats are filled according to All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) rank.
For admission under lateral entry scheme, the candidate is selected as per his/her performance in Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry (JELET).
