Undergraduate:
Admissions are made strictly according to University norms i.e. on the basis of merit in the entrance test PEPT (Pre engineering, pharmacy test) conducted by VYAPAM (Vyavasayik Pareeksha Mandal).

Post Graduate:
Admissions are made on the basis of merit in the GATE exam. 80% weightage is given to GATE scores and 20% to interview. The vacant seats left after giving admissions to GATE qualified candidates, would be given to non GATE candidates on the basis of combined weightage in qualifying exam (80%) and interview (20%).
