It is approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi and recognized by the government of Tamil Nadu. Dr. Alva Paramedical Educational Institute offers General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course of 3½ years duration. The college is aimed at imparting nursing education in weaker section of area and producing well trained health personnel.
