It was established in 2001 by the DAV College Trust and Management Society, which is the largest non-government educational organization in India. The institute is affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU) Jalandhar and the courses are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. DAV Institute of Engineering & Technology conducts undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes in the field of engineering. Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
The eligible candidates should have passed 10+2 in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.
Post Graduate:
M Tech
The eligible candidates should have passed BE / B Tech in respective subjects.
MCA
The applicants should have a Bachelor's Degree of minimum three years in any discipline as recognized by PTU or any Indian University with Mathematics at 10+2 level.
MBA
The eligible candidates should have passed graduation in any stream from a recognized university.
Admission Procedure:
Undergraduate:
Admission to B Tech course is done on the basis of Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by PTU and All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) conducted by CBSE.
Entrance Test: Punjab CET, AIEEE Exam
Post Graduate:
Admissions to M Tech Programs are done on the basis of GATE examination followed by an interview conducted by PTU and College.
Admissions to MBA are done on the basis of Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar.
Admissions to MCA are done on the basis of Management Entrance Test (MET) conducted by Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar.
