Dasmesh Institute of Research & Dental Sciences was established in 1992 by Dashmesh Society, located in Malwa region of Punjab State. To impart BDS and MDS courses, the college is affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. The dental college is also recognized by Dental Council of India. It is a component of the Dashmesh Group of Institutions, which is a renowned educational group in Punjab and possesses various schools and colleges all over the state. All candidates should apply for admission to the B.F.U.H.S. who fulfill the eligibility criteria and other conditions and also have qualified Punjab Medical Entrance Test (PMET). The selection of candidates will be made by the Central Admission Committee, as per schedule of PMET notified by B.F.U.H.S.
