College of Engineering Adoor

College of Engineering Adoor, in Pathanamthitta District, was established by the Government of Kerala, to impart technical education in the region. Set up in 1995, the college is affiliated to Cochin University of Science & Technology. The college is run by the Institute of Human Resource Development for Electronics, a governing body nominated by the state government. Courses offered by the institute have been recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Currently, College of Engineering Adoor conducts undergraduate level courses (B Tech) in three streams of engineering, which include Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

Applicants, who have passed the Intermediate examination in Kerala state with PCM, or any other equivalent examination, can apply. Diploma holders are also eligible.

Admission is based on the rank secured by the candidate in the Common Entrance Examination (Kerala CEE), conducted every year, by the Controller of Examination (CEE), Kerala.
