Located in Boko of Kamrup district (Assam), College of Education Boko is a renowned institute of teacher education, offering Bachelor of Education programme. The college was set up with an objective of fulfilling the demand of trained secondary level teachers in the region. The college came into existence by the efforts of local educationist and intellectuals. Established on 31st may 1998, the college started offering admissions to the young aspirants from the academic session 1999 - 2000. Spread over an area of 22, 624 sq mtrs, the self financed, co-educational college is affiliated to Guwahati University and has received approval of the NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) in 2004. College of Education Boko has equipped itself with all necessary facilities in its campus.
