College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology OUAT (Orissa University of Agriculture & Technology), situated in Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Orissa, came into existence in 1966. The institute, considered as one among the leading institutes under SAU-ICAR system, is one of the significant constituent parts of Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT). It promotes research, professional education and training among the students. College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology offers B. Tech. and M. Tech in Agricultural Engineering. It intends to keep its students updated with latest technological trends of industry and provide them with a platform where they can grow as competent professionals.

Eligibility:

Undergraduate:
The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board in science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as main subjects.

Post Graduate:
The candidates are required to possess B.E/B. Tech degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University.
Admission Procedure:

Undergraduate:
50% weight age, divided equally, is given to candidate’s scores in 10th & 12th standard (PCM/B) group, while 50% weight age is given to candidate’s scores in entrance examination conducted by Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology, namely, OUAT Common Entrance Exam. In addition, Extra weight age is granted for sports, NCC and NSS volunteers as specified in the Prospectus of the University.

Post Graduate:
5% weight age is given to candidate’s scores in 10th, while 15%, 25% & 50% weight age is given to scores of the candidate in 10+2 (science), B. Tech., and entrance examination conducted by the University (OUAT PG Entrance Exam). Recipient of ICAR Fellowship or candidates securing 1st position in 1st class are provided with additional 5% weight age.
