The institute is located in Changanacherry city of Kottayam District, Kerala, and is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. The college has an objective of preparing young talented managers and developing their skills to face the challenges of the corporate world. St. Berchmans Institute of Management Studies Changanacherry admits students to postgraduate course in management - Master of Business Administration (MBA). The course is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is a two-year programme.

Eligibility:

Post Graduate:
To be eligible, the candidates needs to have Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks or Master's degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from Mahatma Gandhi University or any other University recognized by Mahatma Gandhi University. Students appearing in final year examination may also apply. For the candidates of SC/ST category, there is 5% percent relaxation in the qualifying marks.

The selection is based on MAT scores of the candidates. The qualifying candidates are then called for group discussion and personal interview.
