BCDA College of Pharmacy & Technology, located in Barasat (Kolkata) is among the preferred institutes of pharmaceutical science in West Bengal. The college came into existence in 2006, under the guidance of B.C.D.A Members Benevolent Trust. Affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT), it offers four years of Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) course. B.C.D.A College of Pharmacy & Technology has gained the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The college intends to impart in-depth knowledge to the students.

The candidates, who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics /Biology as mainstream subjects, are eligible. Those, who have passed Diploma in Pharmacy from an approved College by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) with minimum 60% aggregate marks, are eligible for lateral entry.

Admissions are purely based on the merit of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) (Engineering & Technology). Few seats are also reserved for AIEEE rank holders. For admission into lateral entry as well scores of WBJEE are considered.
